MUTTON OMLETE


  • Ingredients:

250 kg minced mutton
2 red chillies (remove seed and sliced thinly)
1 medium size onion (diced)
1 teaspoon kunyit (saffron) powder
Some spring onion (sliced)
4 eggs (beaten)
oil and salt to taste

  • Preparation method

First, heat 2 tablespoons of oil. When oil is heated, put in the red chilles and onions. Fry for 2 minutes, then add the minced mutton, Kunyit powder and salt.Cook until the ingredients dries up, add the spring onions, stir for a minute and keep aside. Heat a non-stick pan, add a little bit of oil and pour half of the beaten eggs inside. Cook over very low fire. When you start to notice the eggs are being cooked, put half of the cooked minced mutton at the side of the omelette and start rolling the omelet over. Roll the omelet over the minced mutton. Cut into sizes you prefer and its ready to be served.
