Palak Gosht
- Ingredients
Mutton -1kg
Onion - 3 med sliced
Ginger garlic paste -3 tspn
Green chilly - 7 nos chopped
Dry chilly - 2 nos chopped
Turmeric powder - ¼ tspn
Chilly powder - 1 tspn
Coriander powder - ½ tspn
Garam masala - 1 tspn
Tomato - 3 med chopped
Palak leaves - 1 or 2 bunch (thinly chopped)
Salt - needed
- Preparation Method
Heat oil in a pressure cooker. To this add onions. Saute till it becomes light brown. To this add ginger garlic paste , sauté well. Add mutton, stir well. Then add the chopped chillies and all powders. Saute again till it becomes dry and then add little water and close the cooker , put on the weight. Let it cook in high flame for 3 whistles. Turn off the flame. After opening to the mutton mix add tomatoes , sauté well till the mix dries. To this add palak again sauté, make the mix dry.Then add little water and close the cooker and cook in high flame for 1 whistle. After opening can add water if needed . The gravy should be thick. Serve hot with rotis and nan.
